Hello gamer, geeks, and internet freaks! My name is Winter, and mostly out of a whim for boredom I have decided to start a blog that focuses on my life as a college student as well as my life as a geek.
A little bit about myself, I am *!^&@ years old, I go to &#*$@)%*@ University, and I am in my *&$@^ year of college. Winter Starr is not my real name, but for the sake of privacy and for the heck of it I have decided that shall be my name.
I love K-Pop [BTS is my favorite K-Pop band, with V being my favorite member], my favorite video game at the moment is Overwatch, I love anime, Marvel comics, and DC comics. I might as well bleed caffeine since I can’t seem to stop drinking coffee. I am a business major who one day wishes she could start her own business or travel the world. And that’s a little bit about me.
I want this blog to focus on spreading awareness about mental health and I want to be open about my own struggles with anxiety. A lot of people are afraid to speak up about what’s hurting them on the inside. In my opinion being open and honest about the ugliness of anxiety, depression, OCD, etc. is that first way in finding help and maybe getting better.
I also want to talk about everyday college life stuff like exams, classes, friendships, relationships, traversing the campus for fellow ARMY members, or finding the best/cheapest drink at Starbucks (for me it’s an Iced villain coffee, one of my best friends claims it tastes like water, but I love it and it only costs me a little more than two dollars).
This first blog post will be a little short, but I shall leave you wonderful human-beings with a pun to start your day off.
Have you heard the rumor about peanut butter? I would tell ya’ll but I don’t want to spread it!
